Golf Simulator Projector Throw Distance Guide
Projector throw distance is driven by throw ratio and target image width, then constrained by golfer shadows, ceiling height and enclosure geometry.
Quick checks
- Throw distance ≈ image width × throw ratio.
- Lens position matters, not projector body edge.
- Short-throw models reduce rear mounting distance.
Calculate before buying
A projector with the wrong throw range may be unable to fill the screen from any safe mounting point.
Check vertical geometry too
Lens shift and mounting height determine whether the image lands on the screen without excessive digital correction.
How we use specifications
GolfSimulatorVerdicts treats room size, mounting height and placement as compatibility constraints rather than quality scores. Current manufacturer documentation controls exact installation.
