Golf Simulator Ceiling Height Guide
Ceiling height is constrained by the golfer’s actual driver swing and, for overhead launch monitors, the sensor’s published mounting range.

- 8 ft can be limiting for many golfers.
- Uneekor overhead systems require 9–10 ft mounting height.
- 10 ft+ is a common comfortable target for dedicated rooms.
Golfer height is only part of the equation
Two golfers of the same height can have very different swing planes. A real driver swing test is more useful than a height-only rule.
Overhead hardware adds a hard constraint
If the launch monitor requires a 9–10 ft mounting height, a lower ceiling can make that model unsuitable regardless of swing comfort.
